The players take a roll playing as one of these heroic characters and the computer or the video games allows them to make decisions regarding the strategies and the action during the battle. In this battle, the player controls most aspects of the game through the keyboard or a mouse and a few special effects by using the Xbox Live Arcade controller. The game is developed around these themes and has many elements similar to the LOTR films. It is largely based on the first three books of the Lord of the Ring and its three live-action films adaptation. Wage war in the North and assume command of the most storied civilizations in all of Middle-earth history - the Elven and Dwarven armies.
